If you’ve read our origin story, you know we’re a full-service personal branding platform. What you might not know, though, is what we actually do.

What Is a Personal Brand, Anyway?

We’ve talked about this before, but let’s recap. Your personal brand aligns who you are with who you want to be. It’s the authentic you.

How do you get one?

It has to be unearthed, not created. Your personal brand comes from your core values and your core identity..

But why, you might ask, do you need a personal brand? And where does one even begin to do that unearthing?

That, friends, is where we come in.

The Why of Personal Branding

Before you get to the how of building a personal brand—or of anything, for that matter—you have to understand the why. Or your why, rather.

To help our clients do that, our team spends time getting to know them. We learn about their backgrounds, the influential people and moments in their lives, how they got to where they are today, where they want to go, and what’s motivating them to get there.

Your why is entirely unique to you, but some of the most common themes we see include:

  • They had an experience that prompted a profound shift in their life or clarified their direction.
  • They had a big idea that changed their life and that of many others—or has the potential to do so.
  • They were able to identify and work through a personal challenge and would like to share the lessons they learned to help others.

Most often, what follows is the calling to share their message and drive impact.

When we meet with potential clients, we’re looking to learn the impact they want to make—their mission. Some clients come in with laser-focused goals already, but most come to the table with a handful of ideas and some questions. We work with them to figure out the rest.

Finding Your Arc

Once we understand clients’ mission and goals, then we can help them build your arc.

Your arc is the path to reach your fullest potential. Helping you build yours means creating a robust brand architecture so that you can reach the right audience and rally people around your message.

A personal brand architecture is your blueprint—it includes a description of who you are, what makes you and your brand unique, who you’re serving, and how you’re serving them. Creating the brand architecture is a strategic process involving a set of generative conversations and surveys that results in a well-told story that can take you from where you are to where you want to go.

It’s in the Details

Much of the magic of our work happens in the details, from the visual aspects of your brand—your logo, graphics, and website—to clean, cohesive, and clickable content that actually sounds like you (only better).

We also help you grow and rally your audience through direct, hyper-focused research and outreach; partnership opportunities with like-minded brands and individuals; premier podcast development and launches; and targeted social ads.

A Limitless Long Game

One of the biggest things we tell our clients about personal branding is that it’s a long game. As is the case in any industry, true overnight successes are exceedingly rare. It takes time and a willingness to show up as your authentic self to bring your brand to fruition.

Arcs, by nature, are long and expansive. They evolve over time. We’ve adjusted our own strategy over time, and we’ll continue to do so. We do the same with our clients’ arcs.

We take care of their brand execution with great attention to detail, analyze the data to determine what’s working and what’s not, and drive strategy, increasing their bandwidth for what they’re best at.

As their work evolves, their goals change, and their audience grows, we are there to ensure their personal brand grows and changes with them. There is no limit to where someone’s arc can land, so there’s no limit to our commitment to get them there.
